CACI is seeking a Continuity Support Planner to join our team supporting Department of Homeland Security. The Continuity Support Planner will work on-site and remotely, providing planning and support for the Agency’s continuity events and exercises.
What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Continuity Support Planner, you’ll do the following:
- Develop, maintain and update Essential Supporting Activity (ESA).
- Conduct Business Process Analysis (BPA) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify all of functions, facilities, communications, information systems, data, personnel, inter/intra-dependencies necessary to perform the ESA.
- Identify gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop, coordinate, maintain, and update Continuity, Devolution, and Reconstitution plans, guides, and checklists.
- Develop and implement specific projects to support Continuity such as Personnel Accountability, Essential Records, Site Business Resumption Plan, etc.
- Develop, coordinate, and manage the Test, Training, and Exercise Program.
- Develop, maintain annually, and conduct general and Continuity position specific training.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct annual Tabletop Exercise (TTX) participation exercises.
- Attend exercise planning meetings and conduct exercise hotwashes.
- Develop, coordinate deliver test and exercise After Action Reports (AARs).
- Develop, coordinate, and manage Corrective Action Plan (CAP).
- Process all site access forms for personnel. Validate continuity personnel quarterly. Validate site access monthly and conduct annual revalidation to ensure appropriate personnel have continued access. Develop, manage, maintain database.
- Provide reports to management quarterly for validation.
- Conduct weekly status and project specific meetings with Program Manager to track progress and completion.
- Provide weekly activity report to Program Manager.
- Create and present annual strategy identifying strategic initiatives and projects throughout the coming year.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver preparedness outreach messages for personnel.
- Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures to ensure functions can be maintained when primary personnel are unavailable.
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies following best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Active Top-Secret clearance required, with ability to obtain SCI
- Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD)
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience or equivalency (in absence of a BA,16 years’ experience can be substituted
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Available to work 12-hour shifts possibly for a period of up to 30 days
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Continuity Practitioner Level 1 Certification with EMI
- Previous DHS or DoD experience
- The following certifications is highly desired:
- Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,700 - $165,300
