What success looks like in this role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Field Engineer to join our team in Schiphol. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in IT and field engineering. You will gain hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network systems while ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Learn and apply Field Engineering practices and procedures.
Perform tasks under guidance or by following documented processes, including:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing desktops, laptops, monitors, and related peripherals/software.
Assisting with maintenance on products and devices.
Performing basic installs, moves, adds, and changes on various equipment and devices.
Supporting network, server, device, and application testing and certification.
Ensure client satisfaction throughout service delivery.
Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and keep incident/request tickets updated in the ticketing system.
Follow outlined procedures and complete required certifications.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
High School diploma or GED required.
Strong interest in IT hardware and troubleshooting.
Ability to follow documented processes and work under guidance.
Good communication and customer service skills.
