Your Impact

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre-Sales Technical Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate and manage the technical requirements necessary to deploy hardware and software solutions to large enterprise customers. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure that our customers' technical needs are met, and that our solutions are seamlessly integrated into their environments.

What You’ll Do 

Location: Hybrid - Must report into one of the following Hub locations: Scottsdale AZ, Seattle Washington, Boston MA, Denver CO, Atlanta GA
Reports to: Director, Enterprise Business Operations

  • Technical Coordination: Work with enterprise customers to gather, understand, and document technical requirements for deploying hardware and software solutions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure the successful deployment of our technology into customer environments.
  • Solution Design: Partner with sales and technical engineering teams to design and present tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of enterprise customers.
  • Program Management: Lead and manage end-to-end implementation programs, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a technical liaison for pre-sales discussions, product demonstrations, and trials to ensure alignment between customer needs and our solutions.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential roadblocks in the deployment process and work with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.
  • Training & Enablement: Provide technical training and enablement to sales teams and customers as needed, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to deployment phases.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer requirements, solution designs, and deployment plans for reference and future scalability.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably in a pre-sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software deployment, especially in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience working with large enterprise customers, translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Waterfall, JIRA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with physical security technologies, network infrastructures, or cloud-based software deployments is a plus.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay and bonus. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 130,400 in the lowest geographic market and USD 195,600 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
