JOB DESCRIPTION

Red Seat Ventures (RSV), a FOX company, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Podcast Marketing to oversee marketing and audience growth for its portfolio of creator-led audio properties. This individual will be tasked with designing and executing high-impact, data-driven campaigns that grow audience reach, increase engagement, and elevate program visibility across platforms.


As a senior leader within RSV’s marketing function, this role requires a sharp understanding of digital audio trends, performance marketing, and platform partnerships. The ideal candidate brings a disciplined approach to growth, strong analytical acumen, and a track record of building scalable marketing systems. Collaboration across operations, sales, production, and audience development will be essential to success.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and lead comprehensive podcast marketing strategies across all RSV audio titles
  • Serve as the primary stakeholder for campaign development and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand standards
  • Manage RSV’s presence and partnerships across podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify
  • Oversee third-party analytics and attribution platforms to track performance and inform campaign optimization
  • Design and implement scalable growth campaigns via social media, cross-promotion, and earned media
  • Collaborate with audience development and sales teams to integrate marketing strategies with monetization goals
  • Regularly report performance metrics, identifying key insights and areas for continued improvement

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 10+ years of experience in podcast or digital audio marketing, preferably in a media, entertainment, or creator-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead audience growth initiatives grounded in data and performance metrics
  • Deep expertise in the podcast ecosystem, including platform relationships, distribution models, and consumer trends
  • Proven success managing cross-functional projects in a high-stakes, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with tools such as Podtrack, Linkfire, or equivalent podcast analytics software
  • Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Prior experience working directly with on-air talent or influencer brands
  • Understanding of paid media strategies and podcast ad operations
  • Background in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or newsletter strategy within the audio space

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-200,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
