Summary: An SAP TM Technical Consultant with hands-on experience in developing and enhancing SAP TM-specific functionalities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BOPF, BRF+, ABAP OO, FPM/Web Dynpro, and integration techniques used within the SAP TM landscape. Roles & Responsibilities: * Analyze technical requirements and design robust solutions within SAP TM. * Develop custom logic using: * ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (ABAP OO) * BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework) * BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus) * PPF (Post Processing Framework) * Design and implement enhancements for Freight Orders, Freight Units, Charge Management, and TM UI using FPM / Web Dynpro. * Create and customize Adobe Forms for transportation documents (e.g., Freight Order printouts). * Develop and maintain interfaces using: * IDoc / ALE * PI/PO, CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) * OData / REST APIs for integration with external systems. * Work with functional consultants to understand specs and convert into technical solutions. * Perform technical unit testing and support SIT/UAT phases. * Debug complex issues and provide production support post go-live. * Follow best practices in transport management coding, performance optimization, and version control. Professional & Technical Skills: * SAP TM technical development experience. * Proficient in: * ABAP OO, BOPF (Enhancements, Determinations, Actions) * BRF+ rule configurations and integration with TM scenarios * PPF configuration and custom action development * Web Dynpro / FPM-based UI modifications * Good knowledge of TM data structures, nodes, and relationships. * Strong debugging skills in embedded TM environment (S/4HANA or standalone TM). * Hands-on experience in creating and consuming web services (SOAP, REST, OData). * Understanding of TM functional processes to support seamless collaboration with functional teams. Additional Information: • SAP Certified in ABAP or SAP TM (Technical) • Experience with HANA CDS Views, AMDPs, performance tuning • Knowledge of SAP Event Management (EM) enhancements • Agile/Scrum delivery model experience
