We are seeking a creative and experienced Product Development Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful release of NVIDIA's board and system products to high volume manufacturing.

What you'll be doing:

  • As part of an Operations Engineering team that plays a key role in developing new MGX Server products.

  • You will represent Ops Engineering during architecture and design product life cycle and provide manufacturing capability feedback to design teams.

  • You will define product test requirements and drive NPI bring up, validation, and characterization for smooth production ramp at worldwide manufacturing sites as you continuously find opportunities for potential process improvements and collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement.

  • Communicate with Development, Mechanical, Thermal, Program Management, and Operations to ensure products are released on time, with high quality, and high yield.

  • Coordinate with chip and system teams to achieve high test coverage

  • Plan and review characterization reports to demonstrate highly manufacturable board solutions

  • Assist reliability teams with board qualification

  • Review supplier performance and assess capability to achieve product requirements

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts across operations organizations

  • Find opportunities and methods to optimize board and System NPI process

What we need to see:

  • BSEE or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in HW design analysis, prototype bring-up, failure verification and manufacturing test support.

  • Extensive experience in high volume board and System manufacturing process verification.

  • Strong understanding of board and system manufacturing test processes, quality systems, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • You have a consistent track record of leading board/system-level products through different phases of life cycle - all the way from design to high volume manufacturing.

  • DFx knowledge in electrical, thermal, and mechanical components of system.

  • Knowledge of hardware and software interaction (e.g., familiar with embedded low-level firmware and/or embedded operating systems and H/W).

  • Proven track record to work effectively with multi-functional teams and communicate complex technical information clearly.

The base salary range is 128,000 USD - 247,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
