👩💻🧑💻As a Regulatory Compliance Officer at Qonto, you will:
• You will act as the main point of contact for the competent authorities in Spain to maintain trustful and reliable relationships with Qonto's Supervisors. This includes ad hoc requests, contribution to regulatory reporting, and the coordination of onsite control inspections.
• Engage in proactive identification and mitigation of compliance risks, through new product reviews, partnerships & outsourcing approvals, etc.
• Participate in cross-functional team projects to roll out Qonto’s strategy to become Europe's #1 online business account.
• Lead and manage compliance projects, setting benchmarks for success.

• His path? Guilhem has a robust Regulatory Compliance and Internal Control background, with over 8 years of experience. Before joining Qonto, he held key roles at Lyra Collect as the Head of Compliance and Internal Control, and at KPMG as a Senior Consultant. He also has experience in Financial Security at Indosuez Wealth Management. Guilhem has been with Qonto for 1.5 years, starting as a Regulatory Expert and now leading our Regulatory Compliance team.
• What can he bring to the team? Upon joining Qonto, Guilhem has been pivotal in advising on regulatory requirements and acting as a solution-oriented stakeholder across various strategic projects. He leads regulatory analyses for senior management and ensures Qonto’s compliance with multiple requirements across our four markets. Guilhem’s proactive approach helps Qonto’s teams identify and mitigate non-compliance risks while fostering a culture of continuous learning. He is dedicated to helping you grow in your role by providing insightful guidance and support, ensuring you perform your job skillfully and effectively.

• Experience: You have solid experience in regulatory compliance within the banking or payment industry, preferably with direct exposure to Spanish competent authorities.

• Analytical Thinking: You proactively identify compliance risks and enjoy solving complex problems.
