Job Description Summary:

Responsibilities And Duties:

Demonstrates effective behaviors as outlined in the organization-wide core competencies.
Serves as the Chief Executive Officer’s principle advisor and business partner in providing strategic financial leadership for the organization.  Serves as a member of the administrative staff; participates in policy formulation to support goals and objectives of all entities of OhioHealth.
Provides financial direction and recommends financial strategies.  Provides advice on matters of expense control, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and long-range financial planning.
Reviews profit plan forecasts and programs, produces reports relating to actual financial performance and keeps management informed of significant variances from planned results, which involve making recommendations pertinent to trends developing.
Oversees the development and refinement of profit planning and forecasting, information gathering, analysis, and reporting with the objective of more accurate control and comprehensive projection of the corporation’s operating results.
Oversees the organization’s treasury function which includes the investment of financial portfolios best suited for achieving optimum returns as it pertains to pension plans, foundations, idle funds, unrestricted funds, and any bond or other financing transaction.
Interprets and enforces all policies and procedures as they relate to staff as well as functional policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of departments.
Manages the balance sheet structure of the organization including liquidity, debt, etc.
