We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in enterprise, containerized, and multicloud environments, who will also take on the role of Security & Compliance Coordinator for the SWIFT scope.

DevOps & Platform Engineering

·         Design, deploy, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters across on‑premises and cloud environments.

·         Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of hybrid and multicloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).

·         Operate and optimize Apache Kafka clusters, including Mirror/MirrorMaker configurations for replication and resilience.

·         Provide support (nice‑to‑have) for MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL regarding replication, scaling, and backup strategies.

·         Implement observability solutions using:

o    OpenTelemetry

o    Prometheus / Grafana

o    Elastic

·         Promote DevOps/GitOps practices using:

o    Automation with Ansible

o    CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)

o    Scripting in Bash, Python, Go, YAML

·         Manage security, authentication, and authorization processes:

o    Certificates

o    Encryption keys

o    RBAC

o    LDAP/IDM integration

·         Oversee the complete infrastructure lifecycle, including provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and decommissioning of platform components.

·         Collaborate with internal IT and application teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure solutions.

·         Nice‑to‑have: experience with IBM Power systems in containerized environments.

·         Nice‑to‑have: experience with virtualization and hyperconverged platforms such as:

o    OpenShift Virtualization

o    Nutanix

o    VMware

o    KVM

o    or similar technologies.

SWIFT Security & Compliance Coordination

·         Ensure full deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the SWIFT CSCF across all involved entities.

·         Maintain alignment between technical teams, security, governance, and change management regarding SWIFT requirements.

·         Assess the compliance impact of infrastructure or application changes.

·         Provide support for internal and external requests related to SWIFT controls, security posture, and compliance matters.

·         Coordinate all audit activities, including evidence gathering, documentation, communication, and follow‑up with relevant personnel.

·         Maintain a comprehensive view of the full SWIFT environment across all entities (including CSDs).

Requirements

Experience

·         3–6 years in enterprise IT infrastructure and platform delivery.

·         2+ years of hands‑on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift in production.

·         Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka (distributed architecture, replication, high availability).

·         Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other database platforms (plus).

·         Expertise in DevOps, automation, and scripting.

·         Solid understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and platform engineering principles.

·         Experience with observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Elastic).

·         Experience with virtualization platforms (OpenShift Virtualization, Nutanix, VMware, KVM) is considered a plus.

·         Strong engineering mindset with a focus on automation, lifecycle management, and reliable delivery.

·         Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

·         Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (RHCSA/RHCA)

·         Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

·         Additional certifications in cloud platforms, databases, DevOps tools, or virtualization technologies are considered a plus.
