About the Role:

CrowdStrike India is looking for an experienced accounting professional with hands-on experience in Fixed Asset accounting. This will be an interesting and challenging set of responsibilities as our organization continues to grow in both size and complexity.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and record asset, liability, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information

  • Process, monitor and review the accounting activity for Fixed assets including but not limited to asset addition, deletion, transfer and reclassification.

  • Timely closure of books of account, to include timely depreciation run and manual journal entries, if required.

  • Prepare reports and financial presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial information.

  • Review the CIP balances periodically and ensure accurate & timely capitalization to cost accounts.

  • Work with the Tech Ops team to timely identify the asset impairment.

  • To gather the CIP data and assess the forecasted usage of CIP balances.

  • Prepare account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts to support recorded balances and track activity

  • Prepare the FA roll-forward file to confirm the accuracy of movement in the balances.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the FA transactions are appropriately accounted for.

  • Participate in the monthly accounting close process and MoM variances based on trend

  • Monitor the system controls, procedures and compliance with the policies applicable to Fixed Assets process. Assist in statutory audit works of public listed companies

  • Involved in finalization of statutory audit of financial statements 

  • Assist in development and documentation of processes and procedures, monitoring of internal controls and identification of opportunities for efficiencies 

  • Perform accouting processes in compliance with SOX

  • Ad hoc projects, as deemed necessary

What You'll Need:

  • Strong written & oral communication skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills to meet time-sensitive deadlines

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks at the same time

  • Able to review and analyze a process, recommend and implement improvements

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

  • MBA Finance with 7-10 years of relevant work experience in Fixed Asset Accounting.

  • C.A. (Chartered Accountant) qualification will be an added advantage

  • Shift Timing : 2 PM – 11 PM IST

  • Strong understanding of ERP (NetSuite experience is preferred)

  • Experience with a “Shared Resource Centre” will be a big plus
