Construction Superintendent – Piping ( Fabrication Yard)

KBR Abu Dhabi is currently looking to fill a position of Construction Superintendent – Piping  for an Offshore Project to be based initially for some time Office and then move to Fabrication Yard office and if required by client team, the role may move to Offshore Site on 6 weeks/ 3 weeks rotation ( as per client requirement).

The Construction Superintendent – Piping is responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling all piping construction activities within the fabrication yard. This role ensures that fabrication, assembly, testing, and readiness for transport of piping systems are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Construction & Execution

• Supervise all piping fabrication activities including cutting, fit‑up, welding, NDT, heat treatment, pressure testing, painting, and preservation.
• Ensure construction activities align with IFC drawings, project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate daily work plans and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Monitor productivity and resolve field issues impacting schedule or quality.

Requirements

• Minimum Overall 15+ years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.
• Having experience working in EPC? Offshore/ Modular Fabrication Projects.
• 10–15 years of experience in piping construction within oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory/ superintendent role within fabrication yard environments.
• Having minimum 5+ years of previous experience working in Offshore Projects.
• Must have worked at least 5 years of experience in similar position for mega oil and gas EPC project ( more than US$ 1 Billion)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a MUST.
