The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Gordon Brother’s team based in Campsie NSW. Projects are predominately based in NSW, but short duration travel to interstate projects is periodically required.

As a Project Engineer/Manager, you will be empowered to ensure flawless delivery in order to meet our customers’ expectations and needs. This will include on time and on budget delivery of our many and varied projects. You will build and maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure continued success.

You will be looked upon for your organizational skills and technical innovation to help a fast-paced team perform at the highest level. 

About the role:

  • Liaising directly with clients to define scope, secure projects, etc.
  • Project scoping, tender document preparation, cost estimation, tender evaluation and preparation of recommendation reports and presentations
  • Detailed design and layout work
  • Ensure completed works are carried out in compliance with relative codes and standards
  • Ensure quality, safety and environment aspects are followed
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Support the project team within your region
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Ensure continued business growth and success

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering  
  • >5 Years of Industrial refrigeration/HVAC or similar industry experience
  • Project Management/Engineering experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive approach and ability to work both within a team and autonomously
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project.
