Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working within dynamic project environments, applying modern development frameworks, and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align software capabilities with business objectives is a key aspect, alongside continuous improvement of existing systems to meet evolving requirements and performance standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices and innovative approaches to software development within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of software deliverables with business goals.
- Ensure security, performance, and scalability of smart contracts and blockchain applications.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and external partners in multi-organization blockchain networks.
- Lead or mentor development teams, enforcing coding standards, testing, and best practices.
- Support POCs, innovation initiatives, and exploration of Layer 2 scaling solutions.
Participate in design reviews, audits, and governance processes related to blockchain systems.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Hyperledger Besu.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain architecture and distributed ledger technologies with Strong understanding of Ethereum-compatible platforms (GoQuorum, Hyperledger Besu).
- Solid understanding of blockchain security concepts (permissions, key management, transaction integrity)
- Experience in developing and deploying smart contracts and decentralized applications with Experience with enterprise blockchain frameworks such as R3 Corda and Ripple also with Experience designing on-chain vs off-chain data models.
- Familiarity with consensus algorithms and network security principles with Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and asynchronous processing patterns also Familiarity with REST APIs, event-driven systems, and message queues.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and/or Java (Spring Boot).
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize blockchain network performance.
- Understanding of integration techniques with existing enterprise systems.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts for enterprise blockchain platforms (Ethereum, GoQuorum, Hyperledger Besu, Corda).
- Implement asset tokenization, on-chain/off-chain data models, and blockchain transaction workflows.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices (Node.js / Java) to interact with smart contracts.
- Work closely with cloud infrastructure teams to deploy blockchain solutions using Azure/AWS services.
- Hands-on experience with Solidity smart contract development.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8+ years of experience in software engineering with strong blockchain focus with experience in Hyperledger Besu.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
