The Standard Cost Controller is responsible for the end-to-end execution and governance of the annual S/4 Standard Cost update process, ensuring costs are accurate, policy-compliant, and fixed for the financial year. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and rigorous data management within the Group Calculation Model (GCM).
What you will be responsible for:
Standard Cost Management:
Execute the annual Standard Cost update process, resulting in the P1 Standard Cost release.
Ensure the Standard Cost is fixed for the year, only allowing updates (>10% variance or error) with pre-approval.
Manage the Year-End Actualization process (P12), excluding under-utilization, under-performance, or abnormal waste.
Track variances against the Standard Cost over the year and coordinate follow-up with Manufacturing and other relevant departments.
Process Execution & Data Integrity:
Operate and update the Standard Cost Group Calculation Model (GCM).
Review and update manufacturing data (OEE, Scrap, speeds, manning, production plan).
Calculate and update financial data, including Activity Rates and Overhead (O/H) Rates.
Integrate Procurement Rates for Raw Materials and Packaging.
Coordinate the updating and loading of BoMs & Routings into S/4 with the MDM Team.
Collaboration & Governance:
Collaborate with the PLW Team for Budgeted Production Volumes and the Industrial Controller for Budget Financials.
Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Industrial Control, and Procurement teams to ensure accurate Standard Costing.
Provide support for Intercompany, Intracompany, and Traded Goods costing processes (e.g., Transfer Price Centralisation).
About you:
Standard Costing: Solid experience in costing methodologies and variance analysis.
Systems: Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and SAC (or similar ERP/BI tools).
Data Analytics: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; experience with Google Looker is a plus.
Technical Rigor: Strong ability to process and interpret complex datasets.
Language: Fluent English.
Strategic Execution: High-pace delivery with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Autonomy: Critical thinker capable of working independently and challenging processes.
Influence: Strong communicator able to collaborate and influence across functions.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership potential and project ownership.

The gross monthly salary for this role is between 3.200 and 3.600 EUR gross, with the final offer reflecting your qualifications and experience.
