Our FSP team is growing, we are searching a senior leader to direct a group of clinical staff for a large FSP engagement globally ensuring overall delivery, managing KPI performance and driving innovation. You will work with the leadership team to formulate effective goals and objectives for the model and assure operational alignment with senior management priorities. You will be a key point of contact for the customer leadership team globally and support the regional operations teams within IQVIA.
Essential Funtions:
- Act as a sponsor liaison in day-to-day relationship governance, escalations and other client-facing initiatives.
- Works collaboratively with other clinical teams, sponsor/client representatives, and other functional leadership to manage project related challenges and to achieve exemplary customer service.
- Evaluate organization workload, quality, and budget metrics through regular review and reporting of findings. Collaborate with senior management and other functional leadership to improve efficiencies, project outcomes and quality metrics for clinical projects.
- Participate and may lead corporate or departmental quality or process improvement initiatives.
- Act as a coach and mentor for lower level staff as they develop in their role.
- May conduct clinical project or operational reviews according to organization needs and interfaces with appropriate functional leadership to achieve positive outcomes.
- Typically oversees other managers and Associate Directors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in scientific discipline or health care preferred.
- At least 10 years clinical trials experience including experience in a management, leadership capacity or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Advanced knowledge and ability to apply GCP/ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of clinical research financial parameters and project financial tracking and accounting methods.
- Strong communication skills and experience in client management
- Strong leadership skills.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English.
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
- Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
- Travel required (10-15%): mostly in EMEA but might be global
