What You Will Do:

As an experienced data warehouse developer, you will be joining a collaborative IT data warehouse team as we bring Guidehouse data together to meet our business’s reporting needs.  You will apply your knowledge to analyze data, develop data flows, and build data models using Microsoft technology stacks and other tools as appropriate.

  • Participate in development and maintenance of our corporate data warehouse and data lake as a member of our corporate data warehouse team.

  • Develop, test, and maintain relational and multidimensional OLAP models.

  • Perform complex data queries and business data analysis, including financial data. 

  • Understand internal needs and translate them to technical requirements.

What You Will Need:

  • Requires a University Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience OR 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience as a Data Warehouse developer or engineer using Microsoft technologies.

  • Ability to obtain a National Security Clearance or a U.S. Federal Government Public Trust.

  • Experience developing SQL relational databases and optimizing complex queries.

  • Experience developing semantic data models.

  • Experience analyzing and modeling financial/ERP data.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • B.S./B.A. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar computational discipline.

  • Experience developing Azure Analysis Services tabular models.

  • Experience with Power BI Premium advanced data modeling.

  • Experience creating Power BI reports.

  • Experience with source code version control technologies such as Git and Azure DevOps.

  • Well versed with data structures and algorithms.

  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

  • Experience interacting with end-users to understand and document business and functional requirements. 

  • Preference will be given to candidates who are located within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office.

The annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
