Overview

• Valeo Vision Systems (Tuam site) has two primary functions- R&D and production. At one level it engineers cameras (3D view) systems for the automotive industry which it subsequently produces on site.   

• The R&D Financial Analyst controls the level of expenses and investments of the R&D entity or perimeter and the plant Net R&D.

• They are responsible for the preparation and analysis of several reports and documents, such as: weekly indicators follow up, monthly green book including budget & MTP.

Responsibilities:

Monthly Tasks:

R&D Controlling

• Prepares the elements for the reporting, the budget, the business plan and the forecasts.

• Follows and analyses the actual situation vs forecast and vs budget on the daily, weekly and monthly basis.

• Ensure accuracy of management control and costing information in the ERP system of the site

• Ensure reliability of site Net R&D during closing process.

• Must immediately alert the Senior Controller in case of any important risk for the company and / or for its employees.

• Contact with Product Lines or Regional Operations, completing the tasks in order to manage correct operation of GPS module.

• Work closely with Projects/Business Controller & other members of the R&D controlling team to understand the full scope of the R&D perimeter of the Site in order to add value to the control of costs in the entity.
