Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA
Experience working on SQL Server 2008 (if not, at least 2014) and later versions of SQL Server
Expertise in:
o SQL Server installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
o Backup and recovery strategies
o Performance tuning (indexes, execution plans, query optimization)
o High availability and disaster recovery (Always On, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping)
o Security, user management, roles, and permissions
Strong knowledge of T-SQL
Experience with database monitoring and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux or Windows scripting (PowerShell or Shell)
Experience scheduling and managing jobs (SQL Agent)

Data Engineering Skills (Required / Strong Exposure)
Understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schema)
Exposure to tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar
Experience/Knowledge on reporting/analytics

Good to Have Skills
Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Managed Instance, or cloud-based SQL platforms
Exposure to big data or analytics platforms (Azure Databricks, Synapse, etc.)
Familiarity with DevOps or CI/CD processes for database deployments
