Senior Sales Specialist – AI Data Platform

Dell’s Unstructured Data Solutions (UDS) organization is building a new, global AI Data Platform business. This platform helps large enterprises unlock the majority of their data for AI and advanced analytics, combining Dell’s scale and customer reach with a modern, software‑driven data stack.

We are hiring Senior Sales Specialists (Senior Account Executives) to lead this growth across key regions worldwide.

What you’ll do

・Own a set of strategic enterprise accounts or a defined enterprise territory for Dell’s AI Data Platform and related data management & analytics solutions.

・Drive:

  • New logo acquisition in target accounts.
  • Expansion within existing Dell customers (new use cases, new business units, new regions).
  • Multi‑year platform deals tied to customers’ AI and analytics roadmaps.
     

・Lead the full sales cycle:

  • Prospecting, pipeline generation, and qualification.  
  • Deep discovery to understand data, analytics, and AI initiatives.  
  • Positioning Dell’s AI Data Platform and broader data management portfolio as the strategic foundation for those initiatives.  
  • Orchestrating POCs, pilots, and evaluations in partnership with Senior Systems Engineers (presales).  
  • Managing commercial strategy, negotiation, and closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.

・Build and maintain strong relationships with:

  • C‑level and senior technology leaders (CIO, CDO, CTO, VP Data/Analytics).  
  • Data, analytics, and AI/ML leaders within large enterprises.  
  • Internal Dell stakeholders and ecosystem partners (cloud and technology partners).

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales focused on data management and analytics.
  • Demonstrated success selling into large enterprise / Global 2000 customers, ideally with 6–7 figure ACV deals and multi‑quarter sales cycles.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota over multiple years.

・Strong domain fluency in:

  • Data platforms (data lakes/warehouses, lakehouse architectures).  
  • Data management (ingestion, ETL/ELT, integration, quality, governance).
  •  AI/ML basics and how data platforms support AI initiatives.

・Consultative, value‑based seller who can:

  • Link platform capabilities to clear business outcomes (revenue growth, risk reduction, efficiency).  
  • Build ROI/TCO and business cases for C‑level stakeholders.

・Comfortable engaging both technical and business audiences, switching fluently between architectural discussions and business impact narratives.

・Self‑starter who enjoys building new business lines and can operate with a mix of Dell’s structure and startup‑like ambiguity.
 

・Collaborative, team‑oriented approach to working with presales, product, and partner teams.
