FS provides specialist advice in finance, audit, treasury, investor relations, security, procurement, and property. Group Treasury Finance is divided into four teams: Domestic Treasury Finance, Offshore Treasury Finance, Hedge Accounting & Transfer Pricing Insight & Reporting, and Liquidity Reporting & Transfer Pricing.

Domestic Treasury Finance - Delivers statutory and management accounting, product control, and financial reporting for Group Treasury operations, including daily/monthly P&L and key stakeholder reports.

Do Work That Matters
This role ensures financial integrity, delivers strategic insight, and drives operational excellence in the Product Control team.

Key Focus Areas:

• Financial Accuracy & Insight: Lead robust P&L reporting and product control for Tactical & Macro Desk and CIO team Mark-to-Market positions, focusing on complex reporting (option strategies, Greek risk metrics) and transparency.
• Strategic Planning & Performance: Drive revenue and cost forecasting to support financial objectives.
• Leadership & Culture: Foster a high-performance, inclusive team and contribute to talent development.
• Vision & Continuous Improvement: Partner with senior leaders to execute strategy and deliver process enhancements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships internally and externally (including PwC), ensuring compliance and collaboration.
• Regulatory & Risk Initiatives: Lead key projects to reinforce governance and risk management.

Reports to the Executive Manager, Product Control, with an indirect line to the Head of Domestic Treasury Finance. Maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including traders, risk teams, Group Finance, audit, and compliance.

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate P&L reporting and product control for key desks and activities.
• Demonstrate expertise in option trading strategies and related reporting.
• Stay current on global and Australian macroeconomic environments.
• Oversee reporting for ALM, Liquidity Investments, Group Funding & Liquidity, and Group Capital.
• Ensure timely reporting and contribute to automation and system upgrades.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with standards and policies.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and manage delivery of initiatives.
• Promote a high-performance culture and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to business plans and culture initiatives.
• Comply with OH&S, internal policies, and legislative requirements.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of trading strategies, risks, and pricing (especially options).
• Ability to explain complex strategies to non-specialists.
• In-depth knowledge of Treasury principles, regulatory frameworks, and risk.
• Adaptability, analytical skills, and a focus on process improvement.
• Experience in influencing, negotiation, and business partnering.
• Working knowledge of accounting for financial products, project/change management, and data/technology platforms is advantageous.

Essential

• Experience in trading, quantitative analysis, risk management, or product control.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (mathematics, technology, economics).
• 5+ years in financial services.
• Strong numeracy, coding/automation knowledge desirable.
• Demonstrated energy, passion, and integrity.
