CACI is looking for a talented Linux Systems Administrator that is excited about the dynamic intelligence community space and using the latest technologies available to aid in the creation truly rich user experiences. As a member of our Systems Administration team, you will be critical in the design, implementation and day-to-day execution of multiple mission systems using a wide variety of technologies. This program gives you the opportunity to work on a 50 person program that executes as collaborative teams. This integrated approach provides opportunities to all team members to contribute their experience and expertise across the program. The program collaboratively creates mission critical software applications for its users, whom we coordinate with heavily for design and development to ensure efficient and effective execution of their mission. You will support the development teams system requirements as well as the deployed application environments. YOUR contribution will be critical to help us maintain our team's record of on time and on schedule deliveries.
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will install, configure, and maintain the Linux operating systems. You will analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system's servers, hardware, applications, and software. You will monitor systems performance and ensure compliance with security standards. The program uses both physical hardware deployments as well as cloud based systems and VMs. You will be supporting for two highly visible, mission critical cloud-native microservice-based systems (Bodhi and ChatSurfer).
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
TS/SCI clearance with Poly is required for this position.
5+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree and/or experience in IT Systems Administration.
Experience with network and server hardware procurement and detailed record keeping supporting mission networks.
Experience with infrastructure troubleshooting, to include direct interaction with vendors and service providers.
Experience patching and updating Linux server operating systems and configuring Linux server network integration.
Experience in the design, implementation, procurement, tradecraft, or maintenance of various layers of network infrastructure.
In-depth understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g. Red Hat, Centos, Ubuntu, Fedora, Scientific Linux, Debian, etc.).
Ability to research the latest technological developments in relevant operating systems to identify impact and anticipate changes in the organization’s operating environment.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Desire to enhance your abilities.
Experience buying, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers.
Security+ or equivalent certification.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with Configuration Management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment Tools, such as Jenkins.
Experience with scripting tools, such as PHP, Python, Perl or Ruby.
Experience monitoring network activity and network traffic redirection. Familiarity with proxy implementations (e.g. iptables, mod_proxy, digital certificates etc.).
Administration of VMWare.
Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
Experience with ICD 503-compliant systems.
Experience or knowledge of Host Based Security System (HBSS).
Experience or knowledge of hyperconverged infrastructure solutions such as Nutanix.
Experience with container solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, or AWS Elastic Container Services along with orchestration technologies such as Swarm, etc.
AWS Certified DevOps.
