General Responsibilities
• Responsible for the technical aspects of product marketing
• Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives
• Conducts continuous research and provide updates on competitor products
• Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products
• Contribute towards the creation of marketing content in collaboration with corporate marketing
• Promote the product within the company, the distribution channel, and to the market and end users
• Analyze industries, applications, features, competition, and trends
• Effectively communicate with all stakeholders including engineering, marketing and sales staff
• Help define the product roadmap (objectives) in collaboration with engineering
• Provide timely response to inquiries from customers and field teams regarding products, pricing, and other information
• Work with the sales and business planning teams to drive to financial targets for the product line
• Work with the product line managers to prepare new product proposals
• Develop relationships with partners and complementary product vendors, to make sure that our products are well positioned in the market
• Drive new product development activities, identifying critical issues and working with engineering teams to solve them
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
