Job Description Overview

Job Title: PMV Athlete I

Reports to: Midnight Shift S&R Coach

Overview

Responsible for working in a team environment, in which loaded corrugated boxes are selected, processed, palletized, and shipped out to Nike customers with pinpoint accuracy.
Will be responsible to coordinate priorities with multiple internal customers and prioritize duties in a daily timely fashion.

Core Accountabilities

  • Ability to operate Dock Stocker, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Single/Double Walkie.
  • Strict adherence to all Nike safety policies and procedures.
  • Report any unsafe conditions. Take appropriate measures to protect your own safety and that of your colleagues.
  • Maintain durability of lift trucks; inspect daily, reporting any equipment problems to immediate supervisor.
  • Loading and unloading of corrugated boxes onto or from conveyor belts, or pallets.
  • Anchoring, Palletizing and Wrapping Pallets based on customer demand.
  • Storage of Pallets into Pack & Hold Locations.
  • Retrieval of pallets for the purpose of Loading.
  • Understanding of Dock Door & Trailer loading practices.
  • Using RF devices to scan/complete material movements in the system.
  • Must be able to interact effectively and work successfully with a diverse group of people on all levels to reach common goals

Other Duties

  • Active forklift license required upon application.
  • Must be willing to work with/in other areas as required as well as weekends and overtime as needed
  • Lifting between 10lbs – 50lbs
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Using appropriate safe cutting tools for tape and boxes.
  • Operation of Pump Truck.
  • Pre-Inspections and audits of loads, trailers and PMV’s.
  • Understanding of unique customer needs and specifications based upon load requirements.
  • 100% Accuracy of loads and their contents. Adhering to specifics of load plans.
  • Communication with outside drivers for on-demand “live” loads.
  • Follow and adhere to departmental and workplace SOP and safety guidelines
