The Senior Coordinator, Global Marketing Strategy is a member of the Global Marketing Strategy team, and is primarily responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the MLB global marketing strategy and campaigns. The individual in this role will also be responsible for providing project management support to the broader team.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and implementation of the MLB global marketing strategy and related campaigns
  • Supports the global marketing team with project management tasks
  • Prepares marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring project success
  • Identifies local market trends and global research markets consumers, competitors, and market environment based on information from external partners and research tools
  • Works closely with the marketing groups within MLB’s four international offices to implement and support MLB brand strategy
  • Builds and maintains departmental global marketing calendars
  • Tracks marketing campaigns and results
  • Works with vendors on the production and execution of marketing initiatives
  • Represent global marketing strategy and regional offices at cross department marketing initiative meetings
  • In conjunction with Club Marketing, presents opportunities for content creators and regional social media teams to visit MLB ballparks for marketing purposes
  • Contributes to improvements to the internal processes to streamline efforts and ensure all timelines and deadlines are met

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4 year degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience with data reasoning and analysis
  • Demonstrated interest in brand strategy, brand marketing activation

Pay Rate Stipend: $2,700 - $3,150 Bi-weekly
