The Design Drafter position entails sketching the layout with proper measurements and standards for products. These products will be reviewed by upper management and potentially created by working with engineers.

General Responsibilities
• Key participant in auditing the drawings for the correct recording of standards and measurements
• Coordinate the revision management of drawings and documents
• Collaborate on the analysis of the information of the product and component subject to possible technical imperfections
• Provide input to the design engineers regarding the design
• Maintaining contact with the international suppliers of components throughout the design process on the design and technical possibilities of modifications
• Maintaining contact with local suppliers in the concept phase on technical details of mechanical parts (for making prototypes)
• Maintain communication with design engineers, test engineers and internal divisions of the company

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
