Job Title: Practice & Safety Administrator

Practice: Garston, Frome
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours
Salary: £25,646.40 pro rata to £19,234.80

Are you organised, proactive and passionate about keeping people safe? Garston Vets is looking for a dynamic Practice & Safety Administrator to champion Health & Safety across our multi-site practice.

In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll:
🔹 Lead and support H&S and Fire Safety inspections
🔹 Keep compliance slick and up to date across all branches
🔹 Organise essential training (Fire Wardens, First Aiders, staff refreshers)
🔹 Maintain accurate records and safety documentation
🔹 Carry out regular site visits, checks and audits
🔹 Support the Senior Leadership and Sustainability teams
🔹 Provide administrative support across equipment servicing, COSHH, risk assessments, EMS/work experience placements and more

🔹 Liaising with and booking all work experience and EMS (Extra-Mural Studies) placements

🔹 Organising and overseeing practice repairs, servicing and maintenance lists in collaboration with the central team

We’re looking for someone who’s:

✔ Highly organised with great attention to detail
✔ Confident communicating with internal teams and external contractors
✔ Happy to travel between sites
✔ Able to juggle a varied workload and keep compliance running smoothly

No experience or qualifications are required for this role but you must hold a full UK driving licence.
