Summary: Leads Practice by supporting production staff, providing a full scope of professional broker services, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Achieves revenue targets by supporting Producers in generating, closing, and managing new business.
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the respective service team
  • Direct overall strategy, results, and coordination of service team activities. 
  • Arrange client services teams and business plans for each client.
  • Lead strategic insurance program efforts in conjunction with clients.
  • Keep current on marketplace changes and inform clients as necessary
  • Ensure proper utilization of product group resources to benefit the client (actuarial, claims, loss control, etc.)
  • Attend required training sessions, courses, etc. to develop and maintain up-to-date skills and product knowledge.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality of information processed.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain appropriate state brokers' licensing
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree including but not limited to Business and/or Risk Management, and/or a minimum of 10 years of related insurance experience.
  • Must have or be able to obtain the appropriate state broker licenses. 
  • Ability to establish work priorities and manage time effectively. 
  • Ability to use initiative and good judgment in accomplishing tasks with minimal errors/Must possess critical thinking skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships and function in a team environment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead/command client and/or market discussions.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers, including data entry, word processing, and spread sheet applications. Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
