Job Description:

Responsibilities

The Hourly Project Assistant II will provide support to the Immunization team in the Central New York Regional Office.  Duties will include accompanying immunization staff on school immunization audits and Vaccines for Children Site Visits.   The Hourly Project Assistant II will assist the Immunization staff in scheduling the school audits and VFC visits; including sending appointment letters and exit letters detailing the findings of the audits.   The incumbent will be responsible for uploading school audit documentation into the Bureau SharePoint School Audit site.  The Hourly Project Assistant II will also help to create a Vaccines for Children Program Knowledge Quiz for providers to take after completing the VFC Program required annual trainings.   The Quiz could be incorporated into future Provider Agreement requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or a related field (sociology, psychology, human services, biology, sciences, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated, strong communication skills. Experience working in a team. Experience delivering presentations/leading meetings.

Conditions of Employment
Grant funded, hourly position expected to last through 12/13/2024. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.


Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will not be available.

Travel, up to 25%, will be required.
