Overview

We are seeking an interim FP&A Senior Manager to join us on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract to ensure the smooth running of our financial planning and reporting processes as we complete a significant finance systems transformation.

Reporting directly to the CFOO this is an opportunity to have huge business impact and help drive the business forward as we continue our rapid growth trajectory post our recent Series B fundraise.

Key responsibilities

  • Performance Management and Reporting

    • Lead the preparation and delivery of key financial reports to the leadership team and the Board of Directors.

    • Develop and refine processes and systems to monitor the business's financial health, including the implementation of dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time insights into financial performance to business leaders.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting

    • Take ownership of the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate budgets and forecasts across all departments.

    • Be hands-on in building and optimising FP&A tools and modelling infrastructure, enabling the business to scale effectively as it anticipates significant growth.

  • Financial Modelling

    • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning.

    • Ensure financial models are robust, scalable, and adaptable to meet the needs of a fast-growing organisation.

  • FP&A Systems and Process Improvement

    • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of FP&A systems and tools that align with the company’s growth objectives.

    • Continuously assess and improve existing FP&A processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in all financial operations.

  • Team Leadership and Development

    • Manage and mentor the FP&A Analyst, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.

    • Foster a collaborative team environment, driving high performance and ensuring alignment with broader business goals.

Key requirements:

  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A. 2+ years of people management experience.

  • Business Planning & Budgeting: Experience in business planning and budgeting, including the development of comprehensive 3-way financial models, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Analytical Capabilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrable track record of leveraging data to drive decision-making. Strong technical skills with expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis

  • Innovative Thinker: Passionate about technology and innovation, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Commercial Acumen: An understanding of the SaaS business model, unit economics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) would be an advantage.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or another quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Engineering), or equivalent practical experience. A professional certification (CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA) is preferred.

  • Systems: Experience with a range of accounting, reporting and data analysis tools. Experience of working with NetSuite and PowerBI is a plus.
