About the Role 

We’re looking for a Product Designer with a strong UX Research focus to help build and scale our UX team from the ground up. This role is a rare opportunity to define the user experience for a cutting-edge API security platform, working alongside industry leaders in cybersecurity.

What You'll Do

• Lead user research initiatives, including usability testing, to uncover user needs and pain points.
• Translate insights and requirements into intuitive design solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and writers to define and refine product requirements.
• Evolve and maintain our design system for consistency and scalability.
• Advocate for UCD across the company, influencing product strategy and development.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the UX team, shaping design culture and best practices.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer in a B2B SaaS environment (cybersecurity experience is a plus).
• Expertise in UX research methodologies, including usability testing.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and a portfolio showcasing your design thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing speed and quality.
• Experience leveraging Generative AI to optimize UX workflows and accelerate design cycles.
• Experience designing AI-powered products is a huge plus.
