Job Summary

Ensure Accurate Inventory throughout the division (Warehouse and Production). Lead Warehouse and Production floor Physical Inventory and Cycle Count schedule and execution. Assist and report to Division Finance with positive and negative inventory adjustments posted against cost center. Update information on system to maintain inventory records.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities:
  • Review and update all inventory movements and adjustments charged to cost center.

  • Ability to analyze the inventory level discrepancies and identify and correct the root cause of discrepancies

  • Lead Warehouse Inventory Control Specialists and Production floor Material Handlers with Physical Inventory and Cycle Count execution.  Which includes training inventory Control Specialists / Material Handlers.

  • Investigate all Inventory Discrepancies and Work with QA to approve and relabel found inventory back to stock.

  • Assist QA through batch history movement to determine Root causes of non-conformances

  • Maintain files of pending Scrap items and value and work with Division Controller to scrap material per weekly budget.

  • Lead and maintain Division Cycle count / Bay Audit schedule.

  • Report out inventory adjustments and scrap costs to division Leadership Team

  • Certification on Powered Industrial Equipment.

  • Request Scrap Orders (PO’s) for lost material due to damage, inbound shortages, and quality non-conformances.

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least 3 years’ experience in reviewing SAP inventory transactions.

  • Intermediate skill level in SAP

  • 2+ yrs inventory experience in a warehouse/distribution center or similar facility

  • Must be team player with exceptional organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to provide direction, implement changes and adapt to changing business environment

  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).

  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Lift up to 60 pounds. Sit, walk or stand for prolong periods of time. Display specific vision abilities including, close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in hot and cold environments, (32F – 95F). Ability to encompass heights. Frequent bending and kneeling.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$21.25 - $29.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
