ArianeGroup GmbH in Lampoldshausen is looking for a ‘Test Campaign Responsible for Liquid Propulsion (f/m/d)’ for the department ‘Test Engineering, Development and Bench’ with immediate effect.

Your main tasks and activities:

• Preparation, execution and exploitation of the various test campaigns, in the development and demonstrators area of the liquid propulsion perimeter with focus on engine programs with cryogenic & hydrocarbon fuels

• Management of integrated activities between engineering, production and test to ensure timely development of the product

• Development of test plans, measurement plans, test specifications, and operation procedures for mechanical operations

• Derivation of test objectives in order to verify the requirements of the product technical specification

• Instrumentation definition to acquire the necessary test data for the validation of the test objectives

• Conduction of risk analyses, preparation and execution of the campaign key points, as well as the tests themselves in cooperation with the test facility operator

• Leading the campaign and overseeing the testing activities as such, followed by handling of anomalies, analysing the test and inspection results, delivering the post-test analyses and the final report

• Test and bench engineering activities for the realisation of test setups including the definition of the acceptance logic and conduction of the necessary acceptance steps

• Identification of suitable test facilities and specification of necessary modifications or specification of requirements for the setup of new test facilities where necessary

• Provision of inputs for quotations of test campaigns or for request of proposals towards test facilities operators

You have the following qualifications:

• Completed university studies / master's degree in aerospace technology, engineering, or comparable

• Sound and proven experience in the test engineering field

• Knowledge of fluidic- / thermo-mechanics and/or electrical systems is baseline

• Knowledge of liquid propulsion test articles / test facilities and data processing during test campaigns is a plus

• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
