Registered Nurse (RN) STAR Center
With hours flexing to meet the needs of the unit.

The STAR Center has identified its scope of care to include pre-anesthesia care; specifically to 1) prepare the patient for surgery/procedure by assessing and evaluating his/her physical status via nursing assessment, 2) by providing preoperative or pre-procedure teaching/education, 3) to complete pre-surgical testing and registration.

Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Valid Texas Nursing License or Compact Licensure.
• Current CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN required or must obtain within 3 years of hire.
• Certification preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.
