Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for a Documentation Manager to join the Structured Finance – Asia Pacific team based in Melbourne.

About the role

Caterpillar Financial is Caterpillar’s wholly owned captive financier, head quartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Our mission is to help our customers, dealers and Caterpillar succeed through financial services solutions. Structured Finance is a global team within Caterpillar Financial and is responsible

services solutions. Structured Finance is a global team within Caterpillar Financial and is responsible for facilitating the mining, energy and transport equipment financing requirements of Caterpillar’s customers through the use of structured equipment finance and corporate debt facilities.

The role of the Documentation Manager is to lead the regional originations team and supervise the accurate completion of documentation, contract booking, funding and reporting whilst ensuring compliance with organisational and governmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the sales team to facilitate the documentation, booking and funding process in a timely manner.

  • Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of contract booking and funding across the AP region.

  • Complying with relevant SOX controls and while keeping required records for audit purposes.

  • Recommending and leading enhancements to documentation, contract booking and funding process to ensure the most effective and efficient operations.

  • Leading and managing a team based in Melbourne.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree or equivalent experience desired or

  • Minimum of 5 years working in a similar role
