An opportunity to join Manulife’s Asia Regional Distribution team, playing a critical role in shaping and executing the overall strategy within a fit-for-purpose governance framework. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Manulife’s Asia distribution – both in terms of the transformative changes required in the short- to medium-term as well as the game-changers required to build longer-term competitive advantage. This role is not simply about putting strategy and plans on a page – rather it encompasses both the strategic element as well as taking a pragmatic approach to planning how to capture value in the short-term. Working closely with the Asia Chief Distribution Officer and the Head of Asia Distribution Strategy, there is large scope for impact and driving massive change!
Position Responsibilities:
Contribute to the shaping and execution of the Asia Distribution Strategy as required
Support Distribution Governance functions on ongoing/ad hoc endeavors
Support Business Units on specific strategic initiatives as required
Support multiple strategic projects and initiatives across the Regional Distribution portfolio, driving innovation and transformation
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective end-to-end delivery
Required Qualifications:
Strong experience in business strategy, able to make sense of the uncertain and ambiguous business environment to distill the key issues, develop novel solutions to old problems, and make the link to the changes necessary to actually deliver on the proposed strategy
Experience in having conceived and executed on digital transformation end-to-end to create tangible value. Familiarity with an agile organizational model is essential
A strong understanding of where and how value is created. We are obsessed about impact, not the plans themselves!

An articulate and top-down communicator
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in insurance distribution
Experience in a business consulting environment
