Senior Manager – Salesforce Technical Architect

Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager – Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. This role demands deep architectural expertise across multiple Salesforce clouds, strong leadership in guiding technical teams, and the ability to align solutions with business objectives in the highly regulated Life Sciences industry. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on Salesforce architecture experience with integration, data strategy, and emerging technologies such as AI, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
Define and oversee Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Platform.
Provide technical leadership to architects, developers, and QA teams.
Establish design standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for scalable, compliant solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring business goals are met through technical delivery.
Integration & Data Strategy
Lead integration design using MuleSoft and other middleware to connect Salesforce with ERP, data warehouses, and external systems.
Ensure data consistency, reliability, and performance across integrated platforms.
Collaborate with enterprise data teams to align Salesforce with broader data strategies.
AI & Innovation
Drive adoption of Salesforce Einstein AI and other AI/ML capabilities for predictive analytics, automation, and personalization.
Explore emerging technologies to enhance Salesforce solutions and improve business outcomes.
Delivery & Governance
Support Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks, ensuring technical alignment during PI planning, sprint execution, and release management.
Coach teams on DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and technical agility.
Own risk management, escalation, and delivery governance across workstreams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
16 years of overall IT experience, with extensive Salesforce Technical Architect expertise in enterprise-scale implementations.
Proven experience leading technical teams across global delivery models.
Strong expertise across multiple Salesforce clouds and platform capabilities.
Hands-on experience with MuleSoft integrations and enterprise data architecture.
Familiarity with Agile and SAFe frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications (Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant).
MuleSoft certification.
SAFe Agilist or Agile certifications.
Experience with AI/ML solutions within Salesforce (Einstein AI, predictive analytics).
Exposure to global, multi-vendor environments.
Domain expertise in Life Sciences, including regulatory compliance and industry-specific processes.
