About the Role

Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and analysis of Actuarial items in the financial reports and projections.

  • Prepare the Pre-Monthly Production requirements to ensure timely delivery of monthly production results

  • Prepares and/or reviews the monthly valuation of liabilities for OL/VUL/Group/A&H lines of business in different accounting basis (IFRS 4 / IFRS 17 / Local Statutory) together with all the financial report templates required for submission to other departments, the regional office, local management and insurance regulators (AIAPH\ BPI AIA).

  • Assist in the actuarial and financial estimates / projections / budgets for the different Life operations of the company (AIAPH\BPI AIA).

  • Perform validation checks on production results from Prophet, Subledger and SAS. In addition, provide user requirement for various data and systems to IT and Actuarial Architecture Teams

  • Coordinate with IT, Actuarial Architecture Teams or other teams to ensure that data and systems fulfill the user requirements. As such, be involved in detailed review and design of IFRS 17 system solutions including production process manuals and documentations

  • Installs/tests and/or supervises installation/testing of new products into Prophet and DCS as well as oversees any enhancement or modifications required for Prophet Models.

  • Assists the Head of LVO in the managing of I17 Actuarial Modelling and reporting tools including enhancements and changes as needed.

  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements
