This position is responsible for maintenance and resolution of items on the Invoice Dispute Log. This includes reconciliation of client receivables in accordance with contractual agreements, review of Clinical Trial revenues and expenses, as well as working closely with various departments in order to determine the validity of charges and payments received from sponsors. The Denial Management Analyst will be responsible for identifying and reporting on trends.

Duties include and are not limited to:

  • Ensure that tasks assigned are completed within established deadlines and in conformance with defined policies and procedures

  • Perform original work on more complex reconciliations, issues, and transactions

  • Identifying, reporting on and resolution of trends

  • Recommend changes in processes and procedures

  • Identify and reconcile in detail items on the Invoice Dispute Log, such as rate discrepancies, missing data and Sponsor disputes

  • Review and interpret contracts and budgets

  • Work with operations and other departments to resolve variances

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, experience may be substituted for education

  • 1+ year work experience reading and comprehending complex documents and identify financial impacts

  • Clinical Research experience highly preferred

  • Understanding of clinical financial systems and EMRs
