The purpose of the Implementation Consultant is to understand customers’ business issues, capture and define their requirements, and translate them to great solutions that deliver business benefit to our customers, resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction. You'll ensure we run effective workshops with the customer; gather and document clear requirements; design and build practical solutions; and finally test these thoroughly before moving into user training and client hand-over the Customer Success team.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Definition and Design
Gather and analyze requirements independently using workshops, document analysis, and solution walk-throughs while leading stakeholder sessions and guiding customization efforts.
Design system configurations, assist in adopting best practices, and create custom documentation to meet functional needs.
Build and Test
Assign configuration tasks, maintain full system build capabilities, and execute comprehensive test plans, including test cases and scripts.
Support defect remediation and ensure system configurations meet customer requirements.
Consulting and Training
Deliver product demos, tailored training sessions, and expert configuration advice while creating user guides and conducting reviews.
Provide project guidance, adhering to methodology, and lead Configuration Analysts on key tasks.
Product Specialist Duties
Develop deep product expertise to analyze customer needs, design tailored solutions, and coordinate system configurations.
Act as a product expert in meetings, delivering impactful presentations and assisting with scoping and estimations.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide post-project support, contribute to product improvements, and share knowledge through coaching, reviews, and articles.
Accurately track time, meet utilization targets, and maintain a balanced resource mix for offshore configuration.
Education and Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in business / commerce / information technology / computer science, or equivalent qualifications or experience
It will also be beneficial (not mandatory) if you have:
Experience and Skills
Essential:
A minimum of 5 years commercial experience in business or software analysis/SAAS or other software implementation
Demonstrated experience in some or all of the following:
Requirements gathering and analysis
Designing solutions for SAAS or other software implementation
Working within project teams in a software development context
Web-based software design and usability
Product analysis for software products
Risk, crisis, incident, or emergency management systems
Eligible and willing to get Security Clearance (must be a Citizen of Australia)
