About the role and what you will be doing:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop their accounting skills with a task orientated and hands on attitude. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records for EMEA legal entities within Ensono Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting close process including revenue recognition process, preparing journal entries, and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Supporting the preparation of management account packs, including insights into performance against forecasts, budgets, prior month and target drivers of variance
• Oversee month-on-month movements in the GL
• Collaborate with the external tax advisors on VAT and CIT filings· Support local audits and local taxation
• Reconcile monthly payroll figures (gross to net) and posting of monthly payroll journals to general ledger, including re-charges to other entities where appropriate.
• Research accounting guidance and support preparing technical memos to document Company’s position on various transactionsUtilize Workday financial system and improve overall system capabilities and support future reporting tool enhancement projects
• Review Salesforce bookings information to ensure accurate revenue treatment
• Maintain accurate records to facilitate review with senior management and other stakeholders
• Lead and assist with other ad-hoc projects as needed

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

•  Independent contributor with full ownership for successful delivery of job specific projects
•  5-8 years of experience in accounting
•  Very good problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
•  Very good communication and interpersonal skills
•  Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, showing curiosity and a desire to learn
•  Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•  Knowledge of US GAAP, Polish and German GAAP
•  Knowledge of Workday ERP
• Language skills: English (communicative), Polish (fluent), German (communicative)
