Job Summary

This position is responsible for general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment within the Distribution Center and Annex with a focus on batteries in the MHE equipment. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.

This is a Temporary Associate to Hire position
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift: Mid-shift
Hours: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
Pay*: $17.50 / hour (*shift differential may apply)

Responsibilities

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Operate manual battery pullers to change batteries in MHE equipment.

35%

Operate manual battery pullers at elevated heights inside of battery rack locations.

Perform preventive maintenance to battery pullers, batteries, wash cabinets, and battery rack

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, general business periodicals, operating and maintenance instructions/procedure manuals. Can speak effectively to customers. Able to type, prepare, copy, file, and keep records.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Able to perform these operations using American units of money, weight, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one- and two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables.

Ability to accomplish work that is closely managed and reviewed for accuracy and adequacy. Follow specific, outlined, and detailed directions.
