Role: Project Manager & Canada Warehouse Operations

As the Project Manager for our Canada marketplace transition & warehouse transfer initiative, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and successfully launching our new warehouse facility for all three of our sales channels (wholesale, retail, Ecommerce). You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, warehouse partners, manage timelines, ensure the project’s smooth implementation to onboard a new warehouse while transitioning out of our existing warehouse. This role expands Patagonia Canada’s business while streamlining operations resulting in more effective & efficient business practices to maximize Patagonia’s commitment to Save Our Home Planet.
What You’ll Do:
Project Manager
- Help define and oversee a comprehensive project plan, including scope, milestones, resources, and deliverables for the Canada warehouse relocation and Patagonia Marketplace transition for our wholesale, retail and ecommerce channels.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders – internal teams (Sales channels, Planning, Logistics, Technology, Finance, etc.) and external partners (contractors, vendors, regulatory bodies).
- Communicate project updates, risks, and progress.
- Establish strong connection and active communication with key Patagonia stakeholders with regular updates to leadership.
- Foster a positive partnership environment with our 3PL provider and be the ambassador of Patagonia culture.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule, identifying critical paths and dependencies.
- Monitor progress, address delays, and adjust timelines as needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and approvals.
Canada Warehouse Operations
- Work closely with 3PLs to advise on best practices based on Patagonia product and customer knowledge, ensuring smooth logistics operations.
- Collaborate with 3PL to manage inbound and outbound shipments, including order fulfillment, returns, and inventory reconciliation.
- Establish inventory disposition plans for recycle and 2nd quality product flows.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to transportation, storage, quality, or order fulfillment. Understand when to involve additional Patagonia resources and team members.
- Participate in the evaluation of the 3PL’s performance, including weekly KPI reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).

Experience You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree can be advantageous.
- Extensive experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello), warehouse management systems (WMS), D365 F&O ERP.
- Advanced understanding of Excel and Microsoft office applications.
- Ability to travel extensively; ability to be in Canada regularly during project period, warehouse start-up, and peak periods.
- Experience managing start-up projects, warehousing or logistics experience highly desired.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Hiring range: $100,000 – $125,000 USD Annual
At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget. Note the full pay range for this role ranges from: $90,200.00 – $135,400 USD Annual USD Annual. The Hiring Range reflects where in the range we intend to hire for this role.
