What you need to know about the role:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Software Engineer in Test to join our growing Credit organization. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and success of our innovative credit products.

Meet our team :

We are part of the Financial Services - Credit organization, where we build and deliver a diverse range of products, including Buy Now, Pay Later, Credit Card/Line of Credit, and Merchant Credit products across multiple countries. Our team is responsible for ensuring that we deliver high-quality products to our customers. This position is for a Software Engineer in Test within the Consumer Credit Quality team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our credit products are shipped with the utmost quality. You will contribute to functional, e2e testing and automation.

Job Description:

  • Contribute to and eventually lead testing efforts across our entire credit roadmap.

  • Gain a deep understanding of our products by testing them end-to-end, giving you a holistic view of the entire product ecosystem. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different domains to ensure seamless product delivery. 

  • Be instrumental in ensuring we deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of our testing tools and automation frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 

Your day to day:

  • Responsible for driving the entire testing life cycle: Gather requirements, Plan execution, Prepare and execute test plans 

  • Contribute to and build tools, frameworks, and other infrastructure needed to support test automation. 

  • Build, maintain, and execute E2E automation suites for responsible projects.  

  • Design and implementation of automation frameworks.  

  • Use automation, code instrumentation-analytics, and human intuition to ensure we are building a comprehensive automation suite 

  • Accepts mentorship, code-reviews and guides team members. 

What do you need to bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in JavaScript/Node, RESTful APIs, GraphQL and experience with modern web front-end technologies such as React. 

  • 4+ years of test automation experience across web, mobile and API automation 

  • Proficient in industry standard automation tools like Selenium, Appium and Rest assured or equivalent tools. 

  • Good understanding of CI process and tools (Jenkins, Git, branching/merging, build systems). 

  • Can go end-to-end on any stack digging in to unearth the best patterns and design decisions. 

  • Love to see beautiful code and make it possible for others to contribute using your well-defined conventions.
