Castleton Commodities International is seeking a Natural Gas Scheduler for our Houston, TX office. This role is pivotal in managing the scheduling demands of the Company's natural gas operations, with a particular focus on the Northeast Region.

Responsibilities:

• Performing gas scheduling functions related to accurate and timely pipeline nominations.
• Utilizing electronic bulletin boards to schedule product movement; monitoring and communicating pipeline operational information postings.
• Monitoring and resolving volumetric discrepancies; monitoring and communicating producer supply changes.
• Managing pipeline imbalances and optimizing pipeline capacities.
• Ensure timely and accurate nominations, confirmations, and scheduling of natural gas transactions.
• Reviewing and approving pipeline transportation and storage invoices.
• Acting as a liaison with settlements team on pipeline and storage invoice reconciliation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of progressive experience scheduling natural gas, with a strong preference for prior experience in scheduling the Northeast.
• Knowledge of natural gas markets, pipeline systems, and regulatory environments.
• Thorough understanding of natural gas grid, gas flow, and transport segmentation.
• Position requires working before/after regular office hours including some work on holidays and/or weekends.
