YOUR NEW ROLE

• As part of NAB’s Incident and Event at the Global Operations Centre: ensure that incidents/events are identified, responded to and recovered within a timely manner. This role is primarily responsible to:
• Supporting the availability stability and reliability of the technology systems by monitoring and responding to incidents/events in a timely manner
• Ensuring where possible incidents/events are resolved at a first level
• Proactively monitor and respond to events ensuring critical system stability
• Follow documented procedures to assist with recovery of technology services.
• Appropriately escalate incidents or event via standard GOC processes and assist in the coordinated recovery via a technical phone bridge. (Escalate as appropriate to Major Incident Management)
• Continuously develop, maintain, automate and improve tools and processes to support Enterprise Technology KPI’s.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Familiarity with monitoring and batch management tools in large organisation – ie Control-M, OPC, Splunk
• 4-8 years’ experience in large-scale, complex systems technology operating environment Mainframe experiences mandatory. 
• Willing to work in rotational shifts in 24x7 arrangement from office.
• Experience in Mainframe OPC Batch Scheduler and Control-M
• Ability to debug and modify JCLs as per the requirement and provide adequate support in Job rerun.
