Role Overview:

Trellix is looking for a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Manager for the Asia Pacific region to join our growing Communications Team. The ideal candidate will have a background in cybersecurity or enterprise technology.
Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager in the United States, this role will be crucial in supporting regional PR efforts and achieving Trellix's overarching goal of relaunching the brand in the market. Key objectives of the PR program include driving brand awareness and reputation, shaping external perceptions to position Trellix as a trusted cybersecurity partner, thought leader, and threat intelligence expert, and building awareness and engagement with business, security, channel, and vertical trade media, as well as with our customers and partners.Pu
This individual will work closely with the Communications Team, regional PR agencies (including in Singapore, Japan, and India), Trellix stakeholders, and regional spokespeople to ensure consistent, quality messaging.

Responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day regional PR program management, working closely with the regional agencies, stakeholders, and spokespersons to ensure consistent, quality messaging, timely feedback, and quick turnaround rapid response opportunities.

  • Manage the messaging library and create localized content, such as press releases, blogs, and social posts, to highlight Trellix products, solutions, and capabilities, and position Trellix as a trusted cybersecurity partner, thought leader, and threat intelligence expert. 

  • Manage the regional PR calendar, working closely with the Communications Team, regional leaders, and PR agencies to identify proactive media opportunities tied to industry events and trends.

  • Review regional messaging to ensure consistency and alignment with corporate narrative.

  • Manage regional awards calendar - identifying relevant business and customer awards and collaborate with subject matter experts on nominations.

  • Interview and media event support, including staffing interviews (virtual and in-person) and on-site PR support at Trellix-led events. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management.

  • Ability to travel occasionally as required (2-3 times per year)
     

Experiences and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of PR experience in cybersecurity or technology 

  • Fluency in Mandarin/Standard Chinese and English. Knowledge of Japanese is a plus. Knowledge of Korean is a plus.

  • Experience crafting clear, engaging narratives from complex topics

  • Works well independently and in a remote environment

  • Experience working with PR agencies

  • Experience working at a global company and across time zones is highly desirable
