General Description:

The Completions Coordinator, Heavy Haul reports to the Completions Manager and leads the safe, efficient and effective execution of all mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance work at Venture Global , specifically, at the Inlet/Pre-treatment, Liquefaction, Tanks/Loading and Process Balance of Plant (BoP) systems. The Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor (Process) is responsible for working with other Supervisors, Managers and Directors within the Operations & Maintenance departments.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Haul Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This pivotal role involves managing the logistics of transporting large and heavy equipment, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations. The Heavy Haul Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing transportation plans, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to heavy hauling.

You will work closely with project managers, drivers, and logistics personnel to develop efficient routing that minimizes risks and enhances productivity. Excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on the fly are essential in this role as you will serve as the primary point of contact for all heavy-haul transport needs. A strong understanding of the construction industry and heavy equipment specifications will be beneficial as you strive to optimize our hauling operations. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the transportation of heavy equipment and materials from project sites to designated locations.
• Obtain and ensure compliance with all necessary permits and legal requirements for heavy hauling.
• Develop and implement efficient transport plans and routes to minimize delays.
• Collaborate with project managers and logistics teams to understand project needs and timelines.
• Monitor and manage the logistics of heavy hauling operations to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize potential hazards during transport.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and subcontractors related to heavy hauling activities.

Qualifications:

Education and Certifications

• BS in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Piping Engineering, Structural Engineering or commensurate work experience in a construction supervisory role
• 5 or more years of experience in industrial construction of Gas processing plants
• Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) preferred
• Experience working on Client side as representation in the field
• Demonstrated capability of multi-discipline drawing interpretation and P&ID understanding
• Demonstrated technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work within a team with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution

 

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Haul Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment specifications and capabilities is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety compliance for heavy hauling.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex logistical problems and develop practical solutions.
• Proficient in using transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
