As a Customer Service Representative, you will support the business performance of Order Management and Customer Management excellence by supporting sales orders processes, from capturing orders until their completeness, covering a wide range of order source systems and providing exceptional customer service and support. You will work in a dynamic team, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service in every interaction they have with Alcon, solving challenges related to order processing and invoicing. You will be based in Oeiras, Portugal. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Remote Customer Service: Providing customer service and support via phone, email and web including:

  • Call center-based customer support in response to a high volume of low complexity inquiries

  • Customer issues analysis and in response to a fast-paced volume of higher complex inquiries

  • Acting as liaison between customers, production and distribution departments related to specific customer orders

  • Order Management with SAP, Customer Management with Salesforce

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, including customer management and order management.

  • Proven experience in a call center or similar environment, capable of handling a high volume of fast-paced inquiries.

  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Salesforce.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish, with intermediate proficiency in English.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and persistence in handling multiple client issues.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus.
