Lead BizOps Engineer F/T
Overview
Engage in and improve the full lifecycle of services by designing scalable, maintainable systems using tools like Jenkins, PowerApps, and cloud monitoring platforms.
Role.
• Analyze ITSM activities using ServiceNow and Remedy to identify operational gaps and provide feedback on resiliency and performance.
• Support services pre-launch through system design consulting, capacity planning, and CI/CD pipeline validation using AWS DevOps, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
• Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, and health using Splunk and CloudWatch, and troubleshooting distributed systems to reduce downtime.
• Scale systems through automation using PowerShell, SharePoint Workflow, and SPFx, and evolve infrastructure with technologies like Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and PCF.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for software promotion using Git, Maven, Artifactory, and Chef, while enforcing operational gating and DevOps best practices.
• Practice sustainable incident response through structured postmortems and system recovery exercises, leveraging Jira and Microsoft Planner for coordination.
About You
• Position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or related and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as Software Engineer, Systems Administrator, IT Consultant or related. Alternatively, employer will accept Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience.
• Qualifying experience must include at least one (1) year with each of the following: Application lifecycle management (ALM); Change management; Automation; Developing scripts; Software engineering concepts and methodologies; Information security standards and principles auditing, compliance and SDLC; Monitoring, measuring availability, latency and overall system health; Java, Python, C, C++; Spring, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST, SOAP, Hibernate, Junit, Mockito; Jira, Microsoft Project, Rally; Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF); Postman, Soap UI; Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL; Data Structures like arrays, linked lists, trees.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. O'Fallon, Missouri: $122,000 - $207,000 USD
