What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a knowledgeable IAM SME to join our expanding Cybersecurity practice. The ideal candidate will be designing, implementing, and maintaining an organization's IAM system, including user access controls, by analyzing complex issues, identifying governance requirements, and providing expert guidance on best practices to ensure data security and compliance, often collaborating with various teams across the organization to implement IAM solutions effectively.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Administer user accounts and access privileges in the organization’s identity management system.
Work closely with the IAM team to ensure that the right people have access to the right resources.
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the IAM system.
Involved in troubleshooting and resolving IAM issues.
Participate in IAM projects and initiatives.
Work with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.
Maintain documentation for the IAM program.
Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
Provide training to new users on the IAM system.
Update and maintain the IAM system according to changes in the organization’s business needs.
Collaborate with incident response team and security analysts to monitor data transfer, implement security measures, conduct risk assessments, and remediate vulnerabilities.
Design, develop, deploy, and manage DLP solution – instruction prevention and detection system, web application firewalls, deep packet inspection.
Drive technical strategy and road map for IDMS system by setting clear goals for development team by partnering with vendor, SMEs, other consulting teams, and the client.
Understand the business needs, develop creative solutions to cater to the varying needs of the client and customers by leading the engineering team to develop a highly intuitive and configurable highly configurable system.
Gather and prioritize requirements, manage scope and backlog, build project plans, oversee regression testing, configuration changes, and complete delivery of products/solutions.
Responsible for iterative development ensuring quality and reliability of the IDMS system.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree
THREE (3) or more years of application development experience
Experience with Identity and Access management (IAM)
Working knowledge of Zero Trust principles and/or Federal Zero Trust Strategy M-22-09
Experience developing and presenting executive presentations utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Visio.
Experience building and/or supporting web applications to include utilizing SQL.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive and comfortable working independently
What Would Be Nice to Have:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Master’s degree
IAM experience around security controls, audit, process and procedures.
Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
Experience interacting directly with Federal clients at all levels of leadership; polished and professional in client interactions.
